Challenge Group flies in style for fashion week

February is the month of the world’s four most prominent Fashion Weeks. As an established fashion logistics expert, Challenge Group is actively involved, transporting top designer pieces across the world.

10:00 on a Monday morning in Milan, Italy. A well-known designer label has just completed a final, last-minute collection which is listed to show at the New York Fashion Week in the following few days. The designer’s logistics manager immediately contacts Challenge Air Cargo, who arrange for a dedicated truck to collect the valuable haute couture and deliver it to Challenge Handling at Liège Airport in Belgium later that evening. Another season of New York Fashion Week has come to a close, but as the glitterati touches down in London town, we look to the best street style looks of the past week for wardrobe inspiration. This season, we’re seeing green.

Colors come in and out of style, but shades of green gained traction on spring 2023 runways. Designers like Fendi, Michael Kors, Givenchy, and Bottega Veneta included various shades of the color in their collections. Green in all of its forms — like lime, jade, chartreuse, mint, and moss — colored the designers’ cargo pants, mini dresses, silk slip skirts, and tote bags on last fall’s catwalks.

Braids, Braids and More Braids Dominated London Fashion Week Street Style

As the Fall 2023 season trucks along, fashion week attendees have already made it from the frigid temperatures of New York City to the similarly cold ones of London. And as everyone flocks to Milan next, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the many stunning beauty looks we spotted among the street style crowd outside the London Fashion Week shows.

This season, showgoers were really, really into braids: We spotted box braids, high-ponytail braids, knotted braids, pigtail braids and corn rows, to name only a handful. The obsession with all things plaited began with New York Fashion Week’s attendees, and we can safely say we now expect it to be the dominant hair trend for all of fashion month — at least off the runways.

NY Fashion Week: Siriano channels Audrey Hepburn in a garden

Christian Siriano lined his New York Fashion Week runway Thursday with thousands of multicolored flowers and put wide-brimmed hats worthy of muse Audrey Hepburn on some of his models to top off a big week.

First, there was the custom burgundy power suit he made Vice President Kamala Harris for Tuesday’s State of the Union. He nailed it in one trip to Washington, D.C., in one fitting.

“And we had the Grammys and fashion week,” Siriano told The Associated Press in a backstage interview. “We had no time and I was like, well, we hope it works. It’s just such an honor. We wanted to make her look really beautiful and powerful.”
